The scientific rule of thumb is to keep an open mind. Let's practice doing that, in the age of ESC. That's embryonic stem cells. These are very much in the news. There are enterprises begun, others contemplated; there are state laws saying you cannot do this; there is the National Academy of Sciences, which has promulgated a set of recommendations for approved practices in dealing with ESCs.
